Designed for arthroscopic instability or rotator cuff repair, the knotless suture anchor uniquely
allows surgeons to adjust tension on the tissue intraoperatively, ensuring precise tissue
reduction and fixation.
Knotless anchors are available in 2.9 mm, 3.5 mm, 4.5mm and 5.5 mm sizes. The 2.9 mm and
3.5 mm Knotless anchors are optimized for labral repair. Use the 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm Knotless
anchor for rotator cuff repair using the SutureBridge technique and the 3.5 mm Knotless anchor
during rotator cuff or instability procedures.
The anchor bodies – available in nonabsorbable PEEK materials – are strong, revisable, and
radioluscent implants with no MRI artifact. Each anchor has a PEEK eyelet for superior strength
during insertion to allow firm tissue tensioning and shifting .

Knots are extremely strong and reliable. Well tied knots are strong enough to withstand tendon and bone forces. Arthroscopic knots are the same as those used by climbers and sailors, so knot security is not a concern in the experts hands. Knots are versatile and can be used in any suture repair situation, such as margin convergence for cuff repair or with suture anchors.
Possible disadvantages of knots are a theroretical risk of tissue irritation, potential postoperative joint clicking from large knots and surgeons knot-tying skill. For consistent knot-tying a surgeon must be well practiced in tying knots on models before doing so on patients.
